SUMMER 2021 STUDY

Recruiting participants now!

Medic.Life is recruiting individuals in the Provo and Springville area to participate in a research study. Data from the study will be used to improve the Medic.Life product. All participant data will be anonymized, and participant privacy will be protected.

In this study, participants will collect urine samples at home over the course of four weeks. Samples will be stored in a freezer at the participant’s home, and will be collected by Medic.Life personnel once a week. Samples will be analyzed in Medic.Life laboratory facilities. Participants will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.



BENEFITS

Eligible candidates selected for participation will receive a $100 Amazon gift card after completing the study and providing an agreed number of samples.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide 2-3 urine samples per day, 5 days per week, for four weeks
Promptly move samples to a freezer after collection
Coordinate with Medic.Life for samples to be picked up once a week
Provide information about health history

All materials and supplies will be provided by Medic.Life (sample collection cups, freezer, etc.)



ELIGIBILITY

Age: 18 years or older on July 1, 2021
Residence: Reside in the geographic sample collection area. If you received a recruiting card in the mail at your home address, you are in the area!

Schedule

Recruiting (July 15 to July 31)

Candidate participants in targeted neighborhoods will receive a card in the mail with an invitation to apply for the study. Everyone who completes the application will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card.

Enrollment (August 1 to August 8)

Medic.Life personnel will select participants from the applicant pool based on age, demographics, and health history. Applicant data will be de-identified during the selection process to protect the privacy of applicants. Selected applicants will be contacted by email or phone and asked to continue in the study. All applicants will be notified by August 8.

Materials Distribution (August 9 to August 15)

Medic personnel will distribute sample collection materials to all selected participants.

Sample Collection (August 16 to September 13)

Study participants will collect urine samples at home. Medic.Life personnel will pick up frozen urine samples once per week.

Participant Payment (September 21)

Participants who complete the study will receive an email with a $100 Amazon gift card.
